Service Organization Frequently Asked Questions
What types of students will you send to our site?
We send mission-aligned students with appropriate academic preparation, cultural orientation, and a clear understanding of their role. Programs are matched to community needs and supervised by qualified faculty.
Will students disrupt our services or overwhelm our staff?
No. We design placements to minimize disruption and maximize sustainability. Students are trained to support, not burden, local teams and are embedded within interdisciplinary structures when possible.
Can we set expectation in advance?
Yes. We co-develop placement goals and responsibilities with each site to ensure mutual benefit. Clear expectations and communication protocols are established before students arrive.
How many students are typically in each program?
We can host small groups of around 5, or larger groups of 15-20, depending on your needs.
Who plans the travel, lodging, and logistics?
