Ben Zander

Board Member

Ben Zander is a human resources leader with a passion for creating engaging, data-informed employee experiences that drive organizational success. He currently serves with Zander Real Estate, where he leads initiatives in agent growth and development, and recently worked as Human Resources Business Manager for Everlast Brands. Over the course of his career, Zander has supported companies across industries including manufacturing, retail, distribution, real estate, and nonprofit organizations. His expertise spans talent acquisition, training and development, performance management, compensation, employee relations, and HR analytics.

With experience in both domestic and international operations, Zander has supported a wide range of teams—from sales and technology to logistics and finance—helping leaders strengthen culture and align strategy with people development. He has held HR leadership roles with Teton Outfitters (KLIM/509 Brands), Woodgrain, and as a consultant with his family business. His service also extends to coaching and mentorship, including work as a Covey Leadership Coach, volunteer screener with the American Red Cross, and talent acquisition support for the Global Education Ministries Foundation.

Zander earned his Bachelor of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Brigham Young University–Idaho, followed by master’s degrees in Human Resources Management and Business Administration (MBA) from Utah State University’s Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. Guided by the belief that people are an organization’s greatest resource, he brings both academic training and practical expertise in human capital management to the Mission University Board of Directors.
