Melinda Spielman

Board Member

Melinda Spielman is a leader in organizational development, digital transformation, and community engagement, with experience spanning corporate, nonprofit, and advisory roles. She currently serves as Lead of Digital Transformation at Tenaska, where she guides enterprise-level change management and technology adoption strategies. Previously, she worked in digital enablement and adoption at KPMG, bringing expertise in helping organizations incorporate new technologies with a focus on sustainable impact.

Spielman has also held senior leadership roles in the nonprofit sector, including serving as Interim CEO and Director of Workplace Wellbeing at The Wellbeing Partners. There she advanced initiatives at the intersection of health, organizational culture, and employee support. In addition, she led partnerships for the Nebraska Tech Collaborative, consulted independently on organizational development, and served on advisory and planning boards for organizations such as the Global Education Ministries Foundation, the Leadership Africa Summit, and the Omaha Area Youth Orchestras. Known for her collaborative style, she has contributed to arts, culture, and community development efforts across the Omaha region.

Spielman earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Master’s degree in Strategic Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Bellevue University. Her cross-sector experience and passion for aligning people, systems, and purpose make her a valuable contributor to Mission University’s vision of preparing globally minded healthcare leaders.
