Rev. Chad Lierman is a dedicated pastor and church leader with more than 25 years of ministry experience across congregations in Iowa and North Carolina. He currently serves as Presiding Elder for South Central Iowa in the Global Methodist Church, providing oversight, mentorship, and pastoral support to congregations throughout the region. In addition, he is the Pastor of Trinity Church in Oskaloosa, Iowa, where he leads a growing community with a focus on faith, service, and spiritual formation.
Lierman has guided churches of all sizes through seasons of growth, transition, and outreach. His ministry experience includes more than a decade as Pastor within the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church, three years as Pastor of Central UMC in Oskaloosa, and earlier service as Associate Pastor at First United Methodist Church of Cedar Falls. Across these roles, he has emphasized leadership development, community engagement, and building healthy congregations rooted in mission.
Lierman holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Iowa and a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. His long-standing commitment to servant leadership and community building informs his contributions to the Mission University Board of Directors, where he provides valuable perspective on faith, service, and organizational stewardship.
